Perry's is looking for passionate people to carryon the tradition on a new loaction(s).
(The old location has been sold to a retail bakery).

· Perry’s Cherry Diner a Door County icon has been in his family since 1972. The building has been a restaurant since 1934. Perry's Cherry™ has become and is a big part of Door County for years. It's been said many times that a trip to Door County isn't complete without a stop at Perry's™. We are also a local favorite. Our regulars have earned close to $60,000 in free food for being loyal regular guests since 1992.
Perry's Cherry™ has a incedible reputation and following. Have won awards and garnered local, regional and nation press. Perry's awaits it next owners to carry on the tradition in a new location or locations.

And now, the end is here, and so we face, the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear,
I stated my case (to the city), of which I was certain.
Our early demise was helped along
by what some call an engineer.
Some say Perry’s Cherry Diner lived, a life that's full,
but faced a early end
like Elvis and other men.
Regrets, we had a few, like never ending
construction and a stimulus job gone wrong
And I’m not sure Frank would approve what we did to his song.
But through it all, without exemption.
The record shows, he took the blows ---
And Perry did it his way.
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When Perry bit off, more than he could chew.
But if you knew how good the Gyros were you would too..
He ate it up, the milkshakes, the cherry pie and the pits.
He stood tall and had a ball,
and did it his way.
For what is a man without a diner, what has he got?
Let me tell you he's got a family and that’s a lot.
So now as his makes plans for the future
(and maybe Perry’s 2.0??)
