1992 - Perry's Cherry starts using lots of local cherries and Wisconsin dairy products. In the early 2000's we celebrated our millionth Milkshake sold.
1993 - Perry's Cherry 110% smoke-free since 1993. One of the restaurant's first in the nation to do so.
1996 - Perry's Cherry acknowledges the living wage issue (fairness) in 1996 and institutes a confidential team tip share policy to insure all Team members are rewarded for the their award winning work. A program that the folks at the Disney Institute took interest in and asked if they could introduce it to their management team at Disney®. A policy we feel inspires all team members to give outstanding service.
1996 - Perry's Cherry as policy institutes a double hand wash policy for all team members. Once on your own and once in front of another team member after each soiling event.
2004 - When are red lights green. Perry's Cherry installs eco friendly neon. L.E.D. LiteTM the first install of this product in WI. Uses 1/10 of the power for traditional neon.
2004 - Perry's Cherry with the design efforts Andropolis Institutes's Innovation Studio (formerly ADDMAGIC2) introduces to the industry the patent pending, worlds first ecofriendly drive-thru (trade-marked Breeze-Thru®) at its prototype franchise model. This process eliminates unnecessary car idling and had a futuristic electric and H2 power station secretly designed in for use to power the coming generation of zero emission electric vehicles. (Be it a bit too early at the time). As our company ties up the I.P. It will use and license this innovation going forward. This will also be paired with the efforts of eCOCENTRIC LIFE! 2004 Perry's Cherry Diner Systems introduces to the industry meal source verification at our franchise prototype unit in GB. 13 cameras covering and recording every food production area and with a monitor placed next to our cash register showing our guests how clean our kitchens are and who and how safely the food items are being made in real time.
2004 – Perry's Cherry introduces an official community fund raiser program similar to Whole Foods Market's® program. Offering % of sales returned to partner organizations.
2007 – Perry's Cherry Diner an early supporter of the Sustain Door movement.
2007 – Perry's Cherry buys alternative energy credits to be among the first organizations in Door County using wind energy to power our Milkshake maker and other electrical equipment.
2009 - Perry's Cherry 100 mile club menu. Just introduced. Reestablishing co-founder Ann's method of business she used since 1972. These menu items are either locally raised, produced, acquired and/or homemade. In whole or part or the services are offered within a 100 miles off Sturgeon Bay.

· Perry’s Cherry Diner a Door County icon has been in his family since 1972. The building has been a restaurant since 1934. Perry's Cherry™ has become and is a big part of Door County for years. It's been said many times that a trip to Door County isn't complete without a stop at Perry's™. We are also a local favorite. Our regulars have earned close to $60,000 in free food for being loyal regular guests since 1992.
Perry's Cherry™ has a incedible reputation and following. Have won awards and garnered local, regional and nation press. Perry's awaits it next owners to carry on the tradition in a new location or locations.
